IMF Managing Director to attend Astana Economic Forum

AKIPRESS.COM - IMF Managing Director Christine Lagarde will visit Kazakhstan on May 16 to attend the Astana Economic Forum and the regional round table on Economic Policy Measures for Inclusive Growth, the National Bank of Kazakhstan said. The round table will be attended by Prime Minister Askar Mamin, National Bank Chairman Yerbolat Dosayev, heads of central banks and Finance Ministers from the Central Asian and Caucasus states, Mongolia, Eurasian Economic Union.
The round table will address current economic situation, measures for sustainable and inclusive economic growth of the countries of the region.
The round table participants will exchange opinions on hos to strengthen financial sector, to improve business climate to improve governance.
