Discussion of water resources’ dynamics in Central Asia and their impact on environment in Bishkek

Bishkek, Aug.26, 2019. /Kabar/. The "Dynamics of water resources and their impact on environment" International Conference is taking place in Bishkek.
Researchers from the Research Center for Environment and Ecology in Central Asia, as well as scientists from the Institute of Geology of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Xinjiang Institute of Ecology and Geography, the Institute of Water Problems and Hydropower of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic, and the Ural State Mining University are taking part in the discussion.
The objectives of the international conference are devoted to the actual problems of sustainable use and forecasting of water resources under the conditions of modern climate change, the study of glacier dynamics and the impact of shrinkage of glaciers on the water resources regime in Central Asia, the state of conservation of biodiversity in Central Asia and the adaptation of animals and plants to current climate change.
It is also planned to develop practical measures to assess water resources under the conditions of modern climate change, the introduction of modern methods and innovation.
