Sberbank to buy 2GIS

AKIPRESS.COM - Russian savings bank Sberbank has signed the documents on the investment in the development of 2GIS, the press service of the company said.
2GIS is a directory with a map and GPS navigation.
The Board of Directors of 2GIS will include representatives of Sberbank and the founders of the service. Investment funds Baring Vostok and Global RTP will capital of the company. Sberbank and 2GIS plan to jointly develop a technology platform and products, creating services that will significantly simplify the everyday life of users and help entrepreneurs to run a business, - it is told in the company message.
According to RBC news agency, Sberbank partners will receive 75% of the service estimated at 14.3 billion rubles.
