685.5 million soms earmarked for development of districts and regions of Kyrgyzstan in 2021

AKIPRESS.COM - Expenses of the development funds of districts and regions for 2021 are estimated at 685.5 million soms with an increase of 265 million soms compared to the approved budget for 2020, according to the draft budget of the Kyrgyz Republic for 2021 and the forecast for 2022-2023. Regional development funds expenses are projected at 175.4 million soms with a decrease of 0.5 million soms compared to 2020 budget.
District development funds expenses are projected at 510.1 million soms with an increase of 265.5 million soms compared to 2020 budget.
The 265.5 million soms increase of budgetary funds of district development funds is connected with the introduction of the code on non-tax revenues, according to which allocations for the development and maintenance of local infrastructure are paid to funds for the development of regions and the relevant local budgets that have mineral deposits.
