AKIPRESS.COM - President of Kazakhstan Kasym-Jomart Tokayev received Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov on June 2, Akorda reported.
"Cooperation between our countries is developing very successfully in line with the agreements reached during talks with my colleague Shavkat Mirziyoyev as part of my visit to Uzbekistan. We pay a priority attention to development of cooperation with brotherly Uzbekistan and find this an important factor of ensuring stability and security in Central Asia," President Tokayev said.
Uzbekistan achieves successes in many spheres of development carrying out large-scale reforms, Tokayev added.
The task was set to boost bilateral trade up to $10 billion in the next few years. The governments intend to reach this target, Abdulla Aripov said.
President Tokayev awarded PM Abdulla Aripov with Dostyk Order for his big contribution into development of bilateral ties.
