Chief accountant of one of Bishkek municipal enterprises detained for bribing GKNB officer

AKIPRESS.COM - State National Security Committee officers prevented a chief accountant of one of the Bishkek municipal enterprises N.P. from giving a bribe to an employee of the State National Security Committee for stopping the consideration of the claim on financial violations revealed in that enterprise, the Committee said on June 7. In the process of consideration of the claim, the State National Security Committee found a number of financial violations by the municipal enterprise. On May 31, the detainee tried to bribe the officer for 50,000 soms for concealment of the revealed violations.
The GKNB launched criminal proceedings. On June 4, the suspect was detained red-handed while giving 50,000 soms to an employee of the National Security Service.
