AKIPRESS.COM - The Chingiz Aitmatov Cultural Center will be opened in Turkey, Minister of Culture Kairat Imanaliev said.
"This Center will help strengthening of friendly relations between Kyrgyzstan and Turkey, promotion of Chingiz Aitmatov's works," the Culture Minister said.
The Culture Minister said the agreement on opening of the Center was signed by Presidents Sadyr Japarov and Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
"The leaders of two countries also signed an agreement on opening of the cultural center in honor of Turkish poet Yunus Emre in Kyrgyzstan," Minister Imanaliev said.
The Cultural Center in honor of Turkic linguist Mahmud Kashkari will be opened in Barskoon village, Issyk-Kul region.
