Kyrgyzstani takes 1st place at World Jiu-Jitsu Championship

Kyrgyzstani Torokan Bagynbai uulu took the 1st place at the World Jiu-Jitsu Championship among students. Sportdata.org reports.
The tournament is held on April 10-12 in Chiang Mai city (Thailand). More than 200 athletes from 14 countries participate in it. Representatives of the Kyrgyz Republic won two medals.
The champion of the Asian Games 2018 Torokan Bagynbai uulu competed in the weight category up to 77 kilograms. In the final, he defeated a representative of Thailand and took the first place. Bekbolot Tilenbaev won a bronze medal in the weight category of 69 kg.
The national team of Kyrgyzstan took the eighth place in medal standings.
