Babanov’s return. Security officers check fact of raider seizure of NTS

New facts of raider seizure of NTS TV channel were revealed. Sources in law enforcement agencies informed 24.kg news agency.
It is known that the Prosecutor General's Office of the Kyrgyz Republic received materials of pre-trial proceedings on the grounds of a crime under Article 319 (corruption) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic for registration.
According to the sources, the fact of raider seizure of property and assets of Ayant LLC (now NTS TRC LLC) which are subject to confiscation in favor of the state as a property of the convicted persons from among the associates of Kurmanbek Bakiyev's family, affiliated with the former prime minister of Kyrgyzstan, was revealed.
It should be noted that Ayant LLC is the founder of VOSST TV and Radio Company.
The story of NTS goes back to the late 1990s, when well-known entrepreneur Valery Hon created VOSST channel. The channel stopped broadcasting in 2001. The official version was financial difficulties of the company.
On September 8, 2002, a new television company, called NTS (New Television Network), appeared on the basis of the liquidated VOSST. Its founder was Ayant LLC.
The holder of 40 percent of the shares of Ayant was Omurbek Babanov's nephew - Zhanybek Sagadylda uulu. The nephew of the former presidential candidate has the name Zhanybek Myrzabaev now.
In 2010, after the April events, NTS channel changed its owners again The reins of power were returned to Ayant with Omurbek Babanov. In 2011, transfer of NTS to successor of Ayant - Trust Media Сompany - took place.
