13yo girl helped police locate kidnapped boy in Kant

AKIPRESS.COM - 6th-grader Malika Usmanova, 13, helped police investigators in finding Danil Brailkin, who was kidnapped on his way to school in Kant on April 11 morning.
Usmanova became a witness of the kidnapping and information she gave to police helped locate Danil.
The kidnapping of the 12-year-old made the headlines and sparked nationwide worry. Prime Minister ordered the Interior Minister to take the boy's finding under his personal control. He was found safe and sound in the evening of the day and was reunited with his family.
Chuy region police department awarded Malika Usmanova with merit certificate in the presence of schoolchildren and teaching staff of the school.
"Brave actions of young citizens must be told and awarded. And become a role model for the younger generation," police said.
