Jeenbekov meets with head of State Chancellery of Bavaria Florian Hermann

Bishkek, Apr. 15, 2019. / Kabar /. Kyrgyz President Sooronbay Jeenbekov met today in Munich, Germany, with head of the State Chancellery of Bavaria, State Minister of Bavaria for Federal and European Issues and Media Issues Florian Hermann.
Hermann warmly welcomed Jeenbekov and said that he was particularly pleased that before meeting with the Chancellor and the President of Germany, he arrived in Bavaria and this is a very friendly gesture, the Kyrgyz President’s press service reported.
President Jeenbekov expressed satisfaction with the level of development of Kyrgyz-German relations, referring to the intensification of bilateral trade and economic relations, stressed that Kyrgyzstan has great potential in the areas of agriculture, tourism, hydropower, renewable energy and mining.
Jeenbekov proposed to hold the next the Third Days of the German Economy in Kyrgyzstan in 2020, inviting other German companies to invest in Kyrgyzstan and added that following the results of the business forum, agreements will be signed today aimed at expanding the interaction of business circles.
The sides also discussed the issues of enhancing political contacts, developing trade and economic relations, promoting the Kyrgyz Republic in the framework of the GSP +, special attention was paid to the creation of joint ventures, the development of cooperatives and tourism, cooperation within the EU, the development of tourism in Kyrgyzstan and the possibility of creating a joint fund for development of green technologies.
At the end of the conversation, Jeenbekov invited Florian Hermann and the leadership of Bavaria to pay an official visit to Kyrgyzstan.
Florian Hermann thanked Sooronbay Jeenbekov for the invitation, stressed the role of democracy in Kyrgyzstan and noted that they were impressed by the reforms in the Kyrgyz Republic, expressing satisfaction that there are good examples of joint cooperation.
