New mayor of Uzgen elected

Elections of mayor of Uzgen town (Osh region) took place today. Press service of the Central Election Commission of Kyrgyzstan reported.
Mukhtarzhan Khalmatov from Onuguu-Progress deputy faction, who won 16 votes, was elected the mayor. Two candidates ran for the post.
There are 31 deputies in Uzgen Town Council, everyone was present.
Saipzhan Pratov was relieved of the post of mayor of Uzgen in March on the basis of submitted notice of resignation.
