Growth in Kazakhstan in Q1 was 3.8%

AKIPRESS.COM - GDP growth in January-March was 3.8% in Kazakhstan, Prime Minister Aska Mamin said.
Investment in fixed assets grew by 7% in Q1, foreign trade turnover increased by 7.5% in 2 months, inflation was 1.3%, and unemployment rate was 4.8%.
Growth was seen in East Kazakhstan, Kostanay, Atyrau, Pavlodar and Kyzylorda regions, he said.
Mamin noted that in the conditions of slowdown in the global economy and experts' forecast for growth decrease from 3.6% in 2018 to 3.3% in 2019, it is necessary to concentrate on the qualitative and inclusive development of the economy.
