Bishkek, Apr. 18, 2019. / Kabar /. From 15 to 19 April 2019, a week of Kyrgyz culture is taking place in Seoul (Republic of Korea) as part of celebration of Nooruz holiday, the Kyrgyz Embassy in Korea reported.
The stands of the national applied art of the Kyrgyz Republic, the yurt, the Kyrgyz shyrdak, as well as products made of felt and leather, household items and information about Manas are represented in the gallery of the Korean fund.
The opening days of the Kyrgyz culture was held on Apr. 15, 2019 with the participation of the Aiperi dance ensemble. The guests of the gallery enjoyed brilliant Kyrgyz dances and dresses of Kyrgyz beauties.
Within the framework of the week of Kyrgyz culture, Kyrgyz Ambassador in South Korea Dinara Kemelova made a presentation about Kyrgyzstan, in particular, about the history, culture, tourism and investment opportunities of the country. After the presentation, the Embassy organized a tea party, as part of which the guests were invited to taste Kyrgyz dishes (boorsok, chak-chak, sanza, etc.), organic products made from honey, raspberries and currants, as well as dried fruits.
The Kyrgyz culture days will be completed on Apr. 27-28, 2019 with a big concert on the central square in Seoul with the participation of the Nuska group and designers from the Kyrgyz Republic, a demonstration of the Kyrgyz yurt, national cuisine, etc.
