Nazarbayev receives defense minister of Kazakhstan

AKIPRESS.COM - Defense Minister of Kazakhstan Nurlan Yermekbayev briefed ex-president Nursultan Nazarbayev on the execution of tasks given during the last meeting of the Security Council.
Yermekbayev told Nazarbayev about current situation in the armed forces and providing the army with modern weapons.
Additionally, information about ongoing exercises "Aibalta-2019" were delivered to Nazarbayev. Aibalta-2019 exercises, which began on April 17 in Almaty region, will run until May 3. The drills are aimed at improving the field training of the forces.
