Procurement price for milk must be increased in Kyrgyzstan: PM

AKIPRESS.COM - Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Muhamedkaliy Abilgaziyev checked out the activities of the Ak-Sut dairy company's plant in Chuy region on April 19.
During the visit, Abilgaziyev said the farmers should be provided with various incentives to encourage them.
"Procurement price for milk must be raised. Last year, prices in remote areas were no more than 13 soms per liter and citizens asked help to keep prices on acceptable level," he said.
Manager of the enterprise Kairat Abdullayev expressed readiness to increase the purchase price for milk up to 25 soms per liter.
"Efforts of the farmers must be awarded," he added.
