Activist calls on to prohibit LGBT parade in Bishkek

AKIPRESS.COM - The representative of International Youth Assembly of Kyrgyzstan Tumarbek Kamalov called on the authorities to prohibit LGBT parade, allegedly planned for Bishkek on May 1. "LGBT movement contradicts to our mentality and is dangerous for our country. We should save our traditions and customs. We must prohibit LGBT propaganda on the legislative level," he said.
According to Kamalov, the upcoming parade will spark outrage among those who will come to celebrate May 1 labor day.
"I ask Interior Ministry, Prosecutor-General's Office, Parliament Speaker to pay attention to planned provocations," said Kamalov.
