France invests over $86mln in Tajikistan’s economy since 2007

AKIPRESS.COM - The French investors invested in Tajikistan's economy $86.6 million in 2007-2018, including $67 million of direct investments.
The head of state committee for investments and public property management of Tajikistan Farruh Hamralizoda and Secretary of State to the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs of France Jean-Baptiste Lemoyne attended the forum of business circles of Tajikistan and France with the participation of representatives of state bodies on April 18.
The meeting of representatives of two countries in the B2B format was held within the forum, where possibilities of establishing of bilateral cooperation were discussed.
Bilateral Tajik-French trade turnover totaled $17 million last year and increased by three times comparing to 2017. Trade turnover between countries was fully made of imports of French products to Tajikistan.
