Jeenbekov condoles over death of people as a result of explosions in Sri Lanka

Bishkek, Apr. 22, 2019. /Kabar/. Kyrgyz President Sooronbay Jeenbekov expressed his condolences to President of Sri Lanka Maitripal Sirisen in connection with the loss of life as a result of explosions in several cities of Sri Lanka during Easter, the Kyrgyz President’s press service reported.
"With deep regret I took the sad news of human casualties as a result of explosions in the cities of Sri Lanka. On behalf of the people of the Kyrgyz Republic and on my own behalf, I express condolences to the families and friends of the victims, I share the bitterness of the loss. I wish a speedy recovery to all the victims," says in the condolence letter.
According to media reports, a series of explosions occurred in Sri Lanka on Sunday, the first were exploded in three temples and three hotels in the country, the seventh in the west of the island, the eighth in a residential complex in the suburb of Colombo.
The death toll from the explosions is 290, another 500 are injured.
