Bishkek, Apr. 22, 2019. /Kabar/. President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbay Jeenbekov examined the Kyrgyz-Turkish international clinic in Osh, his press service reported.
Foreign investors have invested in the implementation of this project.
The head of state examined the building of the clinic, got acquainted with the equipment.
Executive Director of the Clinic Tuuganbai Omurzakov told that in order to support the policy of President Sooronbai Jeenbekov for the development of regions, Eye Clinic LLC has decided to contribute to the development of medicine in the regions. A modern, international medical center, equipped with the latest technology from leading companies of world is opened on the result of 3 year work.
"In addition, a modern bacteriological laboratory is being created, which has no analogues in the country. About twenty-five specialists of the relevant category will work in our medical center, all of them are among the best in their field in Turkey. We plan to employ about 200 of our citizens. With the opening of the clinic, our citizens will no longer need to go to other countries for treatment," said Tuganbai Omurzakov.
He said that the clinic aims in the coming years to become the most advanced, leading, modern clinic in Central Asia, receiving patients from other countries.
"We will ensure that, along with other developed countries, Kyrgyzstan becomes a country of "medical tourism". A further vector of our development will be focused on oncology and organ transplantation," the executive director of the clinic emphasized.
The clinic accepts patients in the areas of neurology, physiotherapy and rehabilitation, general surgery, radiology, ophthalmology, orthopedics and traumatology, gynecology and obstetrics, laboratory, emergency care, pediatrics, internal diseases, urology, anesthesiology, cardiology, resuscitation.
The clinic also has a rehabilitation center for 180 people, which is located on the shores of Ak-Buura. To date, the total investment is about USD 10 million.
