Tourism accounts for 5% of the country's GDP with 20.8 billion soms.
A state program until 2023 was approved to develop tourism of Kyrgyzstan. Kyrgyz Tourism SE was created, and Kyrgyzstan made it to top-5 tourism spots in the world.
He reminded of the Open Skies principle adoption in Kyrgyzstan aimed at boosting the economy and business environment. Tourism will improve trade turnover, he noted.
