Qatar delegation visits Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, Apr. 24, 2019 / Kabar /. A delegation from the State of Qatar arrived in Kyrgyzstan for a two-day visit, the Embassy of Qatar in the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
The delegation included a representative of the Qatar Investment Authority (QIA), Sheikh Abdul Aziz bin Ali Al Thani, head of the department for the supervision of Islamic banks of the Central Bank of the State of Qatar, Salem Ali Al-Kuvari and others.
During the visit, the representative of the Qatar Investment Authority, Sheikh Abdul Aziz bin Ali Al Thani, met with Director of the Agency for the Protection and Promotion of Investments of the Kyrgyz Republic Shumkar Adylbek uulu. The sides discussed the investment opportunities of Kyrgyzstan.
Meanwhile, the head of the department for the supervision of Islamic banks of the Central Bank of the State of Qatar discussed with Chairman of the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan Tolkunbek Abdygulov the ways of developing relations between the two countries in the banking sector, as well as establishing cooperation and exchange of experience between the central banks of the Kyrgyz Republic and Qatar.
