Bishkek, Apr. 24, 2019 / Kabar /. On Apr. 22, negotiations were held in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkey on issues of mutual trips of citizens between Kyrgyzstan and Turkey.
The press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported that the delegation of Kyrgyzstan, represented by Director of the Consular Service Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic A. Imangaziev, Deputy Chairman of the State Migration Service under the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic S. Toktobotov, employees of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Embassy of Kyrgyzstan in Turkey, met with Deputy Director General of the General Directorate of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkey on consular issues Emine Ezhe Ozbayoglu Azharsa, as well as representatives of the Migration Service on family, labor and social services of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Turkey and the Ministry of Health of Turkey.
During the talks, the sides reached an agreement on the need to reduce the consular fees for issuing visas to citizens of two countries, issuing permits for employment and conditions of stay of citizens of Kyrgyzstan and Turkey in the territory of both countries.
The sides also agreed to ease the conditions for obtaining Turkish visas for citizens of Kyrgyzstan by opening the Visa Center in Bishkek.
Following the meeting, an agreement was reached on further joint work to improve the conditions of stay of Kyrgyz citizens in Turkey and Turkish citizens on the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic.
