Chinese President Xi Jinping to visit Kyrgyzstan in June 2019

Bishkek, Apr. 29, 2019. / Kabar /. Chairman of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping will visit Kyrgyzstan for a state visit in June 2019. This became known during the meeting of President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sooronbai Jeenbekov with Chinese President Xi Jinping on Apr. 28 in Beijing, the Kyrgyz leader’s press service reported.
"Last year, your first state visit to China was successfully held, then we together announced the establishment of a comprehensive strategic partnership. Thanks to joint efforts, bilateral relations are developing steadily, to which I am very pleased. I accepted your invitation to visit Kyrgyzstan with state visits," Xi Jinping emphasized.
The Kyrgyz President was on a working visit to the People's Republic of China on Apr. 25-28, where he participated in the Second Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation and the opening of the International Horticultural Exhibition together with heads of other states and governments.
In addition, Jeenbekov held a number of bilateral meetings with Chinese government officials, leaders of companies and academia.
