Tajik citizens attack Kyrgyz village governor’s truck with stones

AKIPRESS.COM - Tajik citizens attacked a truck of Aksai village governor Erkin Jolchiev with stones, Turmush reports. The village governor was transporting cattle in a truck to the pasture, when he met another truck on the road. Tajik citizens inside the truck reportedly began hurling stones on the front window of the truck.
Kyrgyz villagers gathered being outraged at the incident. After the talks the agreement was reached Tajik citizens will pay 14,000 soms in damage. Tajik authorities promised a criminal probe will be launched.
The situation is reportedly stable on the Kyrgyz-Tajik border.
