Greens Party leader fined over failure to obey police officer

AKIPRESS.COM - Greens Party leader Erkin Bulekbaev was fined for 3,000 soms ($43) over failure to disobey order of a police officer. The party leader was brought to a police station from a rally in protest against uranium extraction. He was released after imposition of a fine.
The rally organized by Erkin Bulekbaev at Ala-Too square was unsanctioned. Police dispersed protesters as the rally was not allowed by district and city courts. Bulekbaev disobeyed to stop the rally.
