Kyrgyzstan can add domestic enterprises into EAEU register on its own

AKIPRESS.COM - Kyrgyzstan can add domestic enterprises into the register of the Eurasian Economic Union on its own, Kalysbek Jumakanov, Director of the State Inspectorate for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Safety, said.
The veterinary system was found equivalent to EAEU requirements, he said.
Inclusion of enterprises into the register means the companies will be able to export their products to the Eurasian Economic Union countries, Tazabek reports.
"We have worked three years to obtain such status. A big job was done to ensure sustainable epizootic situation, which is very important for this decision," Kalysbek Jumakanov stated.
Kyrgyzstan has carried out optimization of its laboratories, he added.
"There are 19 laboratories in the country in total, which have the modern equipment. Two laboratories have a national status," Kalysbek Jumakanov stated.
Last year, all countries of the Eurasian Economic Union, except for Kazakhstan, supported Kyrgyzstan and recognized the veterinary system as that equivalent.
"It is a big responsibility. We are working on the electronic system now. We did not have any rejection of veterinary products for 2 years," the official said.
