Osh and Shijiazhuang plan to establish brotherly relationship

Saibzhan Turduyev in his welcoming speech told about the history of the city of Osh, noted the success in the infrastructure sector, including the implementation of joint programs and projects with investors from China.
"The signing of a protocol of intent to establish twinned relations will be a new step in the development of bilateral relations. We express confidence that the new level of our cooperation will serve the active development of trade and economic cooperation, cooperation in the cultural and humanitarian sphere for the benefit of the residents of our cities," Turduyev said.
Chi Junping stressed that the leadership of Shijiazhuang City Municipality plans to actively develop cooperation between the two cities in a number of areas, including economic and educational directions.
"According to the adopted Development Strategy of our city, we focused on a number of areas: ecology, financial management, education, tourism, IT-technologies. In this regard, we plan to strengthen bilateral cooperation, primarily by developing cooperation in the economic and educational spheres. There is also an initiative to implement joint projects in the field of construction, processing of raw materials. The sides signed a protocol of intent to establish brotherly relations between the cities of Osh and Shijiazhuang.
Shijiazhuang is located in the Great Plain of China, about 315 kilometers from the capital city of China and has the status of the administrative center of Hebei Province, consists of 6 districts, 12 counties and 5 urban counties. The city of Shijiazhuang is home to about two million people and is the center of a developed industry with a stable economy and developed infrastructure.
