Charity fair held in London to raise funds for boarding school in Naryn

Bishkek, May 2, 2019. / Kabar /. The Embassy of Kyrgyzstan in the United Kingdom, together with a number of activists from Kyrgyzstan, organized an event dedicated to the establishment of a public organization of compatriots in London, the press service of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry reported.
Within the framework of the meeting, Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to Great Britain Gulnara Iskakova thanked the active citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic for their participation in cultural and humanitarian activities, briefly informed about the work of the Embassy, discussed the possibility of holding events with the participation of Kyrgyz citizens in the future, noted the special attention paid by President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sooronbay Jeenbekov concerning the protection of the rights and interests of citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic. Also, the compatriots were able to get answers to their questions in the consular and legal sphere in the format of "question and answer" conversation.
In order to support social institutions of Kyrgyzstan as part of the meeting, the embassy organized charity fair to raise funds for orphans of the Asanov boarding school in Naryn Oblast.
In the course of the program the embassy organized a mini-football tournament for the Cup of the Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic in the UK, for which four football teams fought.
Active members of the diaspora presented exciting Kyrgyz games for children and parents, as well as songs and dances.
