Kyrgyz ambassador to Turkey meet with Secretary General of TURKSOY

Bishkek, May 2, 2019. / Kabar /. Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Turkey Kubanychbek Omuraliev met with Secretary General of TURKSOY (The International Organization of Turkic Culture) Dusen Kaseinov, as well as representative of the Kyrgyz Republic in TURKSOY Kojogeldi Kuluev, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
During the meeting the sides agreed on cooperation between the Kyrgyz Republic and TURKSOY, as well as on joint events planned with TURKSOY in 2019, dedicated to the declaration Osh as the cultural capital of the Turkic world in 2019 by TURKSOY.
TURKSOY, is the UNESCO of the Turkic World and was established in 1993 upon signature of its founding agreement by the Ministers of Culture of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and Turkey.
Later on, the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and the autonomous republics of the Russian Federation; Tatarstan, Bashkortostan, Altai, Sakha, Tyva and Khakassia as well as the Autonomous Territorial Unit of Gagauzia (Moldova) joined TURKSOY as member states with an observer status.
