Participation of Kyrgyz President Belt and Road Forum in Beijing was very important - Ambassador Du Deven

Within the framework of the bilateral meeting of President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbay Jeenbekov and Chairman of China Xi Jinping, the parties reached a common opinion in almost all aspects of cooperation, Chinese Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan Du Deven told in Bishkek at the press conference.
She noted that Jeenbekov's visit to Beijing to participate in the Second Belt and Road Forum was very important.
"The president took part in all important events and spoke at the round table. He very well acquainted all the leaders of the countries with Kyrgyzstan. He expressed a clear direction of Kyrgyzstan in cooperation with other countries in the framework of the construction of One Belt, One Road initiative. For all the countries, this forum is a good platform for arranging cooperation. The President of Kyrgyzstan personally communicated with all the leaders," she said.
Du Deven added that the brightest meeting in Jeenbekov’s trip to China was a bilateral meeting with Chairman Xi Jinping.
"Last year in June, during the state visit of Sooronbay Jeenbekov, the sides established good relations and brought cooperation to a new comprehensive strategic level. They talked in depth about all sectors of cooperation. They have reached a common opinion in almost all matters. I think that the friendship between the leaders and the meeting always play an indispensable role for bilateral relations," she added.
