There are 344 veterans of the Great Patriotic War, including 86 disabled people, 217 participants, 17 juvenile concentration camp prisoners and 24 siege survivors of Leningrad city live in Kyrgyzstan as of May 1, 2019, the press service of the Ministry of Labor and Social Development of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
There are also 2 thousand 123 home front workers, four army workers and nine families of the deceased participants in the Great Patriotic War (WWII).
A one time cash assistance of 20 thousand soms will be paid to disabled people, participants of the Great Patriotic War, as well as to the siege survivors of Leningrad and juvenile prisoners of concentration camps by the order of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic in honor of the 74th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War from the reserve fund of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic.
