National Guard soldiers visit World War II veterans

Bishkek, May 4, 2019. /Kabar/.The soldiers of the National Guard of the Armed Forces of the Kyrgyz Republic visited the Great Patriotic War veterans, the press service of the National Guard reported.
"On the eve of the celebration of the 74th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War the National Guard soldiers led by Colonel Kalyinur Kulmanov, visited a number of the Great Patriotic War veterans, living in Bishkek and Chui oblast from May 3 to 6, 2019 paying tribute to the soldiers who gave their lives for the freedom of future generations and for the prosperity of the world," report said.
As part of this event, soldiers organized a home visit to veterans with gifts and medals.
"This holiday is the brightest and most joyful holiday in the world, and the memory of the people still keeps the moments of immense suffering of those distant war years and the enormous courage of the Soviet soldiers, home front workers. I wish them good health, long years of life, happiness and peaceful sky above the head, as well as to be always surrounded by love, respect and care of loved ones," colonel Kulmanov said in his speech to the Guards veterans.
The National Guard holds such events annually, providing targeted assistance to veterans of the Great Patriotic War, as well as inviting them to meet with servicemen within the framework of military-patriotic education.
