Teaching on halal production. Entrepreneurs are taught in Bishkek and Osh how to introduce standards for halal products.
The Ministry of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic in pursuance of the Action Plan for the implementation of the "Concept of Halal Industry Development in the Kyrgyz Republic" for the period of 2017-2020, as part of conducting educational and explanatory work among the population, conducted training of specialists on halal standards.
The training was held in Bishkek on Apr. 28 - 29 and in Osh on May 2-3. The Department for the Regulation of Conformity Assessment Systems and Halal Industries of the Ministry of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic and TIKA jointly held seminars on the topic: "Implementation of SMIIC standards for halal products".
The seminars were conducted by experts of the Standards and Metrology Institute for Islamic Countries (SMIIC) and the Turkish Standards Institution (TSE).
Identify violators. The State Tax Service under the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic in the first quarter of 2019 conducted 10,552 raid tax control and test purchases. 6 thousand 555 subjects for tax control were covered, and control procurement - 3 thousand 997 subjects.
During the raid tax control and test purchase, 3,722 different types of violations were established in the activities of business entities, including 1,261 violations during the test purchase.
Money transfer from Russia. The National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic commented on the situation with the introduction of restrictions on remittances from Russia to the Kyrgyz Republic.
The website of the Bank of Russia in April 2019 posted Methodical recommendations on increasing the level of information disclosure for individuals when they make transfers of funds without opening an account, including to other countries.
"According to the information, the recommendations were prepared taking into account Russian and international practice and are aimed at making the conditions of such transfers more understandable and transparent for citizens. Banks and their payment agents are advised in advance, that is, before citizens make a transfer, to provide up-to-date information on countries and localities to which such transfers can be made, to report on which payment systems and services it is possible to do, and what documents and information are needed for the operation.
Revealed violations. According to the results of the 1st quarter of 2019, the law-enforcement units of the State Customs Service revealed 341 facts of customs violations.
According to data of the State Customs Service:
256 facts are registered in the Unified Register of Violation, in comparison with the same period of 2018 increased by 18 facts. Customs payments in cases of violations amounted to 24.8 million soms. Charged penalties in the amount of - 2.2 million soms.
85 facts are registered in the Unified Register of Crimes and Offenses, compared with the same period in 2018, increased by 14 facts.
At the same time, damages to the state budget increased by 17.1 million soms in comparison with the same period of 2018 and amounted to 25.9 million soms.
Conditions for investments. Chinese Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan Du Dewen told in which case Chinese businessmen would come to the Kyrgyz Republic with investments.
The ambassador stated that stability is the main requirement for attracting investment.
"As an ambassador, I will try to attract more Chinese businessmen to Kyrgyzstan. But it is necessary to create conditions for them. Need to attract them. Therefore, we hope that as fast as the stability is maintained in Kyrgyzstan and as the economy develops there will be investments. Conditions are different, but stability is paramount," she said.
In addition, the ambassador noted that after businessmen feel security in Kyrgyzstan, they will come, as the two countries are neighboring and have a favorable geographical position.
Real estate dynamics. The number of sales of apartments and private houses has increased In Bishkek.
According to the operative data of the State Registration Service of the Kyrgyz Republic, 1 419 transactions of purchase and sale of residential real estate (houses and apartments) were registered in Bishkek in April 2019, which is 2.45% more than in the same period last year.
The number of transactions both with individual residential buildings (+ 14.29%) and with apartments (+ 0.09%) increased during the analyzed period.
Individual residential houses rose in price in April 2019 (+ 0.84%). If in April 2018 the average price of a residential building in Bishkek was $ 52,799, then over the year it rose to $ 53,243.
Affordable mortgage. State Mortgage Company OJSC announces the beginning of the formation of lists for financing mortgage loans at 14% per annum in the direction of "Affordable Mortgage" in the cities of Bishkek and Osh.
According to the company, mortgage loans in this direction will be available to all citizens working in private institutions, including individual entrepreneurs and farmers. In the framework of the planned project of the German development bank KfW, mortgage loans will be issued exclusively in the regions of the country.
Hungary is next in turn. This week, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Chingiz Aidarbekov during his visit to Budapest met with President of the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Laszlo Parrag.
The bilateral trade and economic cooperation between the Kyrgyz Republic and Hungary, including the holding of the first meeting of the Kyrgyz-Hungarian Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation, scheduled for September 2019 were discussed.
During the meeting, the sides discussed the issues of holding a business forum, which will provide an additional opportunity for the business circles of the two countries to make contacts and bring trade and economic cooperation to a higher level.
