Bishkek, May 6, 2019. / Kabar /. Speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh Dastanbek Dzhumabekov visited veteran of the Great Patriotic War Asek Urmanbetov, the press service of the Parliament reported.
Veteran Asek Urmanbetovich turned 96 on Jan. 2, 2019. At a meeting with the Dastanbek Dzhumabekov, the veteran spoke about his multifaceted life. He also watches with great interest what is happening now in Kyrgyzstan, participates in meetings with schoolchildren, tells them about the war, the exploits of his front-line friends.
Asek Urmanbetov has six children. He has 52 grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Urmanbetov has a hobby: he writes books. So this time he presented the book "Report for the lived 95 years," in which he expressed his attitude to life, the world, and people's relationships in poetic style.
The speaker thanked the veteran of the Great Patriotic War for the courage and courage he showed during the war.
"A deep bow to all the participants of the Great Patriotic War and the workers of the rear for defending our Motherland in the struggle against the invader. Your exploits will remain forever in our hearts and the history of Kyrgyzstan. Thanks to your hard struggle we live. We owe much to those who defended our homeland. We remember those who did not live to see Victory, who laid their heads on the battlefield. Eternal glory to the heroes," said Dzhumabekov.
At the end of the meeting, the speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh rendered financial aid to the veteran of the Great Patriotic War and handed over a grocery basket. Leaders of the parliamentary factions also congratulated the participants of the Second World War.
