Bishkek, May 6, 2019. / Kabar /. In connection with the plane crash of the SSJ-100 aircraft, en route Moscow-Murmansk, there are no injured and dead Kyrgyz citizens at Sheremetyevo airport, the Embassy of Kyrgyzstan in Russia reported with reference to the operational service of the Ministry of Emergency of Russia in Moscow.
"We sincerely condole to the families and relatives of the victims of the tragedy. Blessed memory to all. We wish a speedy recovery to all the victims," the report said.
The Sukhoi Superjet 100 aircraft belonging to Aeroflot, which was traveling from Moscow to Murmansk, urgently returned on Sunday evening to Sheremetyevo airport and made a hard landing after 28 minutes of flight. The plane managed to land only at the second attempt due to bad weather conditions. When landing, the plane's engines caught fire.
As a result 41 people died out of 78 people, who were onboard, 37 people survived - 33 passengers and four crew members.
