Bishkek constructs new disposal site

Bishkek, May 8, 2019. / Kabar /. The construction of a new disposal site as well as the closure and recultivation of an old one has started in Bishkek under the Bishkek Solid Waste Project funded with the support of the European Union and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
Residents of the capital, elder people of nearby residential areas, representatives of Ekhitusfirma Rand and Tuulberg and Vice Mayor of the capital Ryspek Sarpashov came to the beginning of the works.
BSWM-5 and BSWM-6 " were signed in 2017 between the Municipal Enterprise "Bishkek Sanitary Landfill" and the contract organization Ekhitusfirma Rand and Tuulberg.
Next year, there will be a new landfill for municipal solid waste in the capital, and the old landfill will be completely closed and reclaimed.
