MP: Pedigreed horses imported from UK and France to Kyrgyzstan

AKIPRESS.COM - MP Daniyar Attokurov said during the parliament meeting on May 8 that pedigreed horses were imported from the UK and France to Kyrgyzstan.
Kalysbek Jumakanov, Director of the State Inspectorate for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Security, confirmed that and said each horse was issued a passport.
When asked about the tracking of livestock imported to Kyrgyzstan from other countries, Jumakanov said only pedigreed cattle are imported and in small quantities.
About 200 pedigreed cows and 500 pedigreed sheep were imported last year, he said.
Parliament of Kyrgyzstan is discussing draft amendments to the law on animal identification in third reading during the plenary session on May 8.
