European village fair to be held in Bishkek

Bishkek, May 8, 2019. / Kabar / A mass cultural event aimed at familiarizing Kyrgyz people with the culture, history and traditions of the European Union member states European Village will be held for the second time in Bishkek on May 11, Eduard Auer, the Head of the EU Delegation to Kyrgyzstan told during the press conference at Kabar News Agency.
Twelve EU countries will present their products, national cuisine, souvenirs and printed materials, information materials and organize interactive sessions for all comers, entertainment for children, exciting games and quizzes.
At the same time cultural events, including performances of artists with songs and dances of EU countries, competitions and games will take place on the territory of the European Village.
Within the framework of the European Village, the TAPE THAT German creative group will hold a master class on creating conceptual paintings using color ribbons. Also, guests of the event will be able to take part in a unique master class of professional Pasadena dancers and try to perform tango with them.
Eduard Auer stressed that the first European Village was successful, so they decided to hold it for the second time. He said that the program of events and the style of conducting will not differ from the previous one.
"If we hold the European Village also successfully in this year, we will organize an event regularly," the head of the EU office in the Kyrgyz Republic added.
