Parliament passes amendments to law on animal identification

AKIPRESS.COM - Parliament of Kyrgyzstan passed the amendments to the law on animal identification in three readings.
The amendments propose to expand the range of animal identification objects to ensure broader anti-epizootic measures and diagnostic tests and to keep track of animals and animal products.
The amendments are aimed at identifying sources of diseases and prevent their spread, boost efficiency of export and import of cattle, poultry and other animals.
The amendments suggest to exclude identification of wild animals.
