Mongolia, Thailand discuss facilitation of border crossing procedures for Mongolians

AKIPRESS.COM - Director General of the Consular Department of the Mongolian Ministry of Foreign Affairs L.Munkhtushig met with Police Major General Pananchai Chuenjaitham, commander of investigation division of the Thai Immigration Bureau on May 7. They discussed facilitation of border crossing procedures for Mongolians and agreed to cooperate on reduction of theft crime committed by Mongolians, Montsame reports.
In connection with the commencement of direct flights from Mongolia to Thailand, the number of Mongolian tourists traveling to Thailand is increasing annually and reached 15 thousand in 2018.
