Kyrgyz athletes are first in Issyk-Kul SCO Marathon

Cholpon-Ata, May 11, 2019. / Kabar /. Kyrgyz athletes Adilet Kyshtakbekov and Darya Maslova were the first to finish the 42 km VIII International Issyk-Kul Marathon of the SCO "Run the Silk Road- Shanghai Cooperation Organization".
International Issyk-Kul Marathon SCO Run the Silk Road started today in Cholpon-Ata. The total number of registered participants of the SCO marathon is 3 thousand people from 27 countries of the world. The race at a distance of 42 km, 21 km, 10 km and 3 km started at the Cholpon-Ata racetrack.
Thus, at the main distance of 42 km among men, the first was Kyrgyzstani Adilet Kyshtakbek, his time was 2 hours 26 minutes 20 seconds.
Among women at the distance of 42 km Kyrgyzstan Darya Maslova was the first, her time was 2 hours 41 minutes 36 seconds.
It is worth noting that in 2017 at the same distance, Adilet Kyshtakbekov won first place in the marathon in the Chinese city of Kunming.
The marathon is is timed to the presidency of Kyrgyzstan in the SCO.
The total prize fund of the SCO Marathon is 2 million 790 thousand soms.
The event is held with the aim of promoting health tourism and promoting a healthy lifestyle.
