Naryn Oblast’s potential presented in China

Jinan, May 13, 2019. /Kabar/. As part of the signing of a memorandum on the establishment of brotherly relations between Naryn Oblast and Shanxi Province, Governor of this Oblast Amanbay Kayipov, gave a welcoming speech at the China-Central Asia Cooperation Forum.
"For a long time, Naryn Oblast has been closely cooperating with the Chinese side, namely with Kashgar perfecture and Kyzyl-Suu autonomous region of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region of China. Our region has great potential for the development of cross-border trade and tourism. An economically advantageous factor for the region is that the region borders with China, through which one of the branches of the Great Silk Road passes. As early as the 18th century, the Naryn-Torugart-Kashgar road was laid. Today it is one of the strategic international highways and has prospects for access to the western regions of China," Kayipov said.
According to his words, the construction and reconstruction of the sections of transit roads connecting the northern and southern regions of the country are currently underway.
"Our republic has attractive business tools: cheap electricity power, qualified labor force, rich mineral reserves, favorable climatic conditions, geographical location, and neighborhood with developed economies," Kayipov said.
