Mississippi Governor to lead delegation at Uzbekistan-United States-Canada business forum in Navoi

AKIPRESS.COM - The delegation of the State of Mississippi led by Governor Phillip Bryant will visit Uzbekistan from May 13-18, the Foreign Ministry of Uzbekistan said.
The delegation will include government officials, businessmen, academics.
The American delegation will hold talks with management of the ministries and agencies of Uzbekistan, will visit the Armed Forces Academy, Pakhtakor district of Jizzakh region where the first cotton cluster functions with support of native of Mississippi state Dan Petterson, CEO of the Silver Leaf International.
On May 16-17 the delegation will participate in the first Uzbekistan-United States-Canada business forum in Navoi. Around 100 companies from the United States and Canada are expected to partake in the event.
