Bishkek to host III congress of general practitioners and family doctors of Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, May 13, 2019. /Kabar/. The third congress of general practitioners and family physicians of Kyrgyzstan, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Akhunbaev Kyrgyz State Medical Academy (KSMA) with wide participation of WHO representatives, a number of foreign scientists will be held in Bishkek on May 16-17, 2019, the press service of the Medical Academy reported.
The congress is convened by the Ministry of Health of the republic, the Association of Family Doctors and Family Nurses of Kyrgyzstan, the KSMA, the Kyrgyz State Medical Institute of Retraining and Advanced Training named after Daniyarov, Initiatives in Medical Education and the Family Medicine without borders public organizations.
Kyrgyz and foreign scientists-specialists will made several presentations under the general motto "Astana Declaration – put into practice" at the plenary session of the congress.
The congress also holds lectures for general practitioners and family doctors, master classes, round tables and symposia on various problems of modern medicine, an exhibition of medical equipment and pharmaceuticals, a discussion of poster presentations, a meeting of future family doctors with representatives of our Government, local and foreign family medicine experts.
The organizers plan to sum up of the contest for the best essay among the family medicine workers, and the speeches of future family physicians - today's students and residents, the adoption of the relevant resolution as its final meeting.
