AKIPRESS.COM - Foreign trade turnover of Kyrgyzstan in the first 3 months grew by 3.3% to $1.5 billion, Head of Economic Statistics and National Accounts of the National Statistics Committee Elvira Isenkulova said.
Exports grew by 13.7% amid 1.6 times growth in export of gold, while the imports decreased by 8.7%.
Export of tobacco and tobacco products also increased by 12.5 times, ceramic products 7.7 times, meat 3.2 times, leguminous vegetables 2.2 times, cement 1.6 times, fruits and nuts 16.1%, copper waste and scrap by 14%, plastics and plastic products by 11.5%.
Footwear exports, in turn, decreased by 3.6 times, clothes and clothing accessories by 2 times, cotton fiber by 26.5%, milk and dairy products by 27.3%, glass polished by 15.9%, supplies ores and concentrates of precious metals by 4.2%.
