New national cellular operator to appear in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, May 14, 2019. /Kabar/. KT Mobile LLC, a new national cellular operator, which is a subsidiary company of the Kyrgyztelecom national telecommunications operator, will appear in Kyrgyzstan, Deputy Director of KT Mobile (KTM) LLC Imankadyr uulu Ernazar told during the press conference at Kabar News Agency.
According to his words, the launch of the new company was scheduled for May 8, but was disrupted due to technical problems from Alfa Telecom (the Megacom trademark). "Negotiations with Alfa Telecom are currently underway to resolve technical problems. If this problem is not resolved, the right to participate in our project under the terms of the contest is transferred to Beeline, another cellular company," Imankadyr uulu said.
He explained that the company was established in 2003, when it received a license and frequencies to provide cellular services of the GSM standard. "There are 3 large mobile operators on the Kyrgyz market, we want to enter this market as the fourth national mobile operator," Imankadyr uulu added.
