Security Councils of Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan hold bilateral consultations in Bishkek

AKIPRESS.COM - The delegations of Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan led by Kyrgyz Security Council Secretary Damir Saginbaev and Uzbek Security Council Secretary Viktor Mahmudov held bilateral consultations in Bishkek on May 14. The delegations of both countries included representatives of security ministries and agencies.
The countries considered border, veterinary and phytosanitary safety, counteraction to terrorism and extremism, cooperation in respond to emergency situations.
The sides found it necessary to further enhance cooperation.
The memorandum of enhanced cooperation was signed between the Security Councils of Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan following the talks.
