Chief of national security committee resigns

AKIPRESS.COM - Idris Kadirkulov has stepped down as Chairman of the State National Security Committee. President Sooronbai Jeenbekov has accepted resignation and signed the order dismissing Kadirkulov from this post.
Idris Kadirkulov referred to media reports and NGOs criticizing the national security committee of impartial investigation into biometric passport tender and alleging about his personal interest. For this reason Kadirkulov said he decided to resign to exclude allegations about his possible influence on the course of the probe.
