Illegal freeing of crime boss Aziz Batukyev: Ex-Health Minister of Kyrgyzstan arrested

AKIPRESS.COM - Ex-Health Minister of Kyrgyzstan Dinara Saginbayeva was arrested as part of the probe into illegal freeing of crime boss Aziz Batukayev, sources told AKIpress.
Saginbayeva was reported to be summoned for interrogation a day before.
On August 3, 2006, Batukayev was sentenced to 16.8 years in prison for his role in the murder of MP Tynychbek Akmatbayev, Chief of State Penitentiary Service Ikmatulla Polotov, 2 workers of the Parliament in October 2005 during mass disorders in the penal colony in Moldovanovka village.
Batukayev served a half of his term with 8.3 years term remaining when he was released from prison by the decision of Naryn district court of April 9, 2013, over leukemia diagnosis. The same day Batukayev fled Kyrgyzstan on a private plane. He was declared internationally wanted on May 6, 2014.
